“Don’t go there Shaunak”, shouted Jhimli to her son. Shunak was going inside the new toy store- Hamley’s. Jhimli had already bought a couple of toys few days ago, not from Hamley’s, but nevertheless she bought him toys. Neil, her husband was browsing through few shirts from the nearby store.
Jhimli took her son’s hand and stood at the railing from where they could see all floors and stores.

As I sat on the couch, I started typing a mail to my client. I thought of working at a coffee shop instead of spending time in my sterile office. While couple of college kids walked by me, I concentrated on my email. Emails are a very important piece of communication today. Email decides who will have the last word. Email is the seal of your achievement in any office if written to the right people with the right prose. An email CCed (carbon copied) to your bosses can make or break your appraisals.

It was 4 am in the morning and Shweta got up with a start. She did not know what woke her up but she knew that she would not sleep so easily again. She took her phone to browse Facebook. She saw that one of her school friends with whom she had not spoken to for eight years was getting married. She immediately ‘liked’ her picture. She always wondered what if she texted her on chat once. What if she asked, ‘Hey just out of curiosity let’s meet.’ But she simply ‘liked’ the picture.
